If you struggle to ensure you're getting plenty of nutrients, then why not explore the world of the smoothie! Some of you may struggle with proper meals so this could help you get through those difficult months and really increase your nutrient intake.
When you blend a smoothie you're taking the whole fruit including the skin which is full of nutrients and can help prevent constipation. Because of the thickness of the blend you'll find you'll need to add a little water to create a liquid form.
You can make a batch of smoothies and freeze them allowing them to defrost over night in the refrigerator ready for breakfast. A smoothie generally lasts around 24 hours before it starts to lose its nutrients, so freezing is a great way to keep those nutrients fresh.
